UK Runaways Trailer

Kristen Stewart and Dakota Fanning are Joan Jett and Cherie Currie in this biopic.

A UK trailer for The Runaways has been released, with these shores getting Floria Sigismondi's biopic on 10th September.

Recently seen together in The Twilight Saga, Kristen Stewart and Dakota Fanning team up again to play Joan Jett and Cherie Currie, the groundbreaking founders of The Runaways in the '70s.

It appears to be a fantastic opportunity for Stewart, who is forced to stifle her natural attitude as the subservient Bella in Twilight. Sigismondi's career in music video and and photography is apparent in her colourful and energetic debut, based on Currie's book Neon Angel: A Memoir of a Runaway.
