The first look at Seth Rogen and Jay Chou in Michel Gondry's adaptation.
The first trailer for The Green Hornet has arrived.
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind director Michel Gondry takes on this big screen adaptation of the character, a former playboy who fights crime with superadvanced technology... that sounds familiar.
Seth Rogen stars as Britt Reid, aka the Green Hornet, with Jay Chou his sidekick Kato. The first trailer from Sony focuses heavily on their partnership, but Cameron Diaz and Christoph Waltz co-star.
Not familiar with the comics, so this just looks like a charisma-free Iron Man to be honest. It's a disappointing project for the gifted Gondry, famous for his groundbreaking videos. We'll see more when the film is released January 2011.
