OK, time for all the drip- drip publicity to stop, with Marvel finally giving us something to get our teeth into with this awesome trailer for The Avengers
Let's face it, The Avengers is going to be incredible, sporting a huge cast including Robert Downey Jr, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Tom Hiddleston, and Samuel L. Jackson. The story, in case you didn't know, follows the supergroup of Iron Man, Thor, Captain America, Black Widow, The Hulk and Hawkeye, who fight alongside Nick Fury to defend the earth from threats that only they can handle.
The exciting trailer introduces us to the various cast members, hints at the otherworldly menace they face, and even fits in some great chemistry between Iron Man and Captain America, The Hulk and pretty much everybody. The action set-pieces look huge, promising that things will definitely go off with a bang when the heroes get together.
This is going to be absolutely epic, and Whedon rarely puts a foot wrong. We're geeking out already, and can't wait for April 27th, when it crashes into UK cinemas.
