Repeaters
The independent Canadian film has been described as a 'dark Groundhog Day'.
A trailer has been released for Repeaters, a Canadian indie which uses a Groundhog Day premise for some nasty goings on.
Carl Bessai directs Dustin Milligan, Amanda Crew and Richard de Klerk as three people in rehab on the way to complete step nine - making amends with those they have wronged. They wake up the next morning and the day repeats itself. As the trio gain more confidence with each recurring day, the worst of their natures emerges, culminating in kidnap and torture.
Sounds great, but the trailer doesn't look particularly appealing. Repeaters premieres at the Toronto International Film Festival.
