New US Monsters Trailer
Director, screenwriter and production designer Gareth Edwards made his sci-fi debut on a tiny budget.
We've already seen the UK trailer for Monsters, and now Apple have a hi-res look at the US promo.
I saw a fair amount of footage from "this year's District 9" at Movie-Con, and the low-budget sci-fi film looks fairly interesting. I've not seen anything yet that lives up to the praise Cannes viewers have lavished upon it, but it looks to be a stunningly shot drama that just happens to be set in an alien-infected Mexico.
We learnt this weekend that stars Whitney Able and Scoot McNairy ended up marrying in real life, aw, and that director and writer Gareth Edwards did the special effects on his bedroom computer. Incredible. Monsters is released on 12th November.
