New Trailer For Splice
Adrien Brody and Sarah Polley star in this genetic engineering thriller.
A new trailer for Splice has appeared on MySpace.
Vincenzo Natali (Cube, Cypher) directs this sci-fi thriller, starring Adrien Brody and Sarah Polley as gifted genetic engineers. The pair create a human-animal hybrid to revolutionise medicine, but this odd looking infant rapidly grows into the beautiful and powerful being, played by Delphine Chaneac.
The film was screened at last year's Sundance Film Festival, and Natali has since taken the time to re-edit Splice. His 21st century Frankenstein sees Polley's Elsa develop a strong bond with Chaneac's Dren, which has disastrous consequences.
Reports seem to indicate it's a lot more than a Species-type affair. We'll see this summer! Meanwhile, take a look at the trailer below.
