New Prince Of Persia Trailer!
Jake Gyllenhaal and Gemma Arterton try and fail to create chemistry judging by the second trailer.
A new trailer for Prince Of Persia: The Sands Of Time has been released.
Disney present their live-action film of the game, directed by Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire's Mike Newell. The second trailer shows a lot more of the interaction between Jake Gyllenhaal's Prince Dastan and Gemma Arterton as Tamina, and it's a shame that the banter between them looks painfully forced.
Producer Jerry Bruckheimer has ensured there is action aplenty, but the story fits the template of 'young hero must retrieve something powerful from hands of the bad guy', in this case Ben Kingsley's Nazim. It's an ancient dagger that can release the sands of time, and Dastan and Tamina head off on a swashbuckling adventure through a golden-hued Persia, and naturally, love pops up along the way. Prince Of Persia is released on 21st May.
