Loved Half Nelson? Me too, so it's good to see its directors Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck back with a new drama, this time with a more light-hearted touch.
The pair have adapted Ned Vizzini's 2006 novel, which has United States Of Tara star Keir Gilchrist as a 16 year old who checks himself into a mental health clinic, only to end up on the adult ward. There he bonds with his new mentor, The Hangover's Zach Galifianakis, and falls for fellow patient Emma Roberts. Lost's Jeremy Davies and Doubt Oscar nominee Viola Davis co-star in the subtle comedy.
It's Kind Of A Funny Story is released in the US this September.
