A cool-looking indie science fiction film, Chronicle follows three teenage boys who, having discovered something mysterious in a cave, develop incredible superpowers.

Having fun at first with their new found abilities, the film soon takes a dark right angled turn as they begin to lose control. From director Josh Trank, Chronicle looks inventive and funny, and from the look of the trailer evolves into a compelling struggle. We particularly like the "found footage" style sections, and are looking forward to this one very much.

Here's the official synopsis;

Three high school students make an incredible discovery, leading to their developing uncanny powers beyond their understanding. As they learn to control their abilities and use them to their advantage, their lives start to spin out of control, and their darker sides begin to take over.

Chronicle is out on the 1st of February.
