World War Z
Brad Pitt stars in the adaptation, out this summer.
We’re not yet totally sold on upcoming adaptation World War Z, starring Brad Pitt, but Universal have thrown us a new trailer and poster to keep our attention. The poster is a pretty cool design, and this trailer does seem to have a more interesting air than the first one we saw.
The naff CGI seems to have been foregrounded a little less here, but we get a decent look at the shufflers themselves, as well as getting a bit more background on Pitt’s character. World War Z is released on June the 21st, and also stars Mireille Enos, Matthew Fox, James Badge Dale, and David Morse.
The story revolves around United Nations employee Gerry Lane (Pitt), who traverses the world in a race against time to stop the Zombie pandemic that is toppling armies and governments and threatening to decimate humanity itself. Enos plays Gerry’s wife Karen Lane; Kertesz is his comrade in arms, Segen.
