Tron Night Planned To Launch Tron: Legacy

Fans of the classic Tron should be excited about about the upcoming Tron: Legacy anyway, and now they've got more cause, with a special preview night planned.

On 28th October, Disney will be hosting Tron Night: 3D and IMAX Experience around the UK in selected cinemas, with the free event to screen 20 minutes of the new film. Having seen a fair chunk of clips myself, I can't wait until 17th December.

"It’s exciting to offer fans an early, exclusive 3D preview of ‘TRON: Legacy’ in the ultimate of formats. We can’t wait for audiences around the world to experience the visually stunning and cutting-edge world that director Joe Kosinski has created," said Sean Bailey, President of Production, Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures.

Tickets are free and will be distributed for UK screenings on a first-come, first-serve basis at www.disneyscreenings.com by entering the codeword 'Legacy'.

Jeff Bridges returns as Kevin Flynn, with his now grown-up son Sam (Garrett Hedlund) entering the virtual world to find his father.
