The Master Gets 70mm Run At Odeon West End

It’s not been seen on these shores just yet, but The Master is easily our most anticipated film of the winter. Paul Thomas Anderson’s first film since 2007’s There Will Be Blood has been gathering critical praise on the festival circuit, and we can’t wait to see if we agree.

The film was shot on 70mm, but word has reached us this morning that this will only be available in a single cinema, with the Odeon West End screening in the format from the 2nd November. The film is set for a wider release on the 16th November, so this seems a good bet right now.

The film follows Joaquin Phoenix, a drifter who is recruited by charismatic cult leader Phillip Seymour Hoffman as his right hand man. The trailer is one of those that won’t leave your head in a hurry – see it below.

The tickets are already on sale, so we would advise booking up sharpish. See you there!
