Prince Of Persia World Premiere Details!
It's going to be the first premiere to take place at Westfield Vue, on 9th May.
It's going to take place at the Westfield Vue in London on Sunday 9th May, the first time the brand new West London complex will host a premiere. Iron Man 2 was supposed to take place there today, but the Icelandic volcano meant it was relocated to Los Angeles.
Stars Jake Gyllenhaal, Gemma Arterton, Toby Kebbell, Ben Kingsley and Richard Coyle, along with director Mike Newell and producer Jerry Bruckheimer, will walk the red carpet at Westfield's Atrium, a "unique event space located under a spectacular undulating glass roof, which will tie-in with the breath-taking stunts as featured within the movie."
Disney are organising a global first for the event: the premiere will cross five time zones, to keep in with the time-twisting themes of the film, with the actors linked by satellite to premieres in Australia, Asia, Europe and Central America (sucks to be you Africa). At 6.00pm GMT countries including Mexico, Germany and Italy will all connect to London to simultaneously experience live entertainment, including a free-running display. The world premiere and red carpet extravaganza will also be simulcast to twenty cinemas across Britain, for what will be one of the biggest movie events the UK has ever known.
Prince Of Persia: The Sands Of Time is released on 21st May. Don't forget to enter our competition for preview tickets, where you'll see the film even before the premiere attendees!
