Peter Weller To Star In Dexter
Robocop himself joins new cast member Julia Stiles in the acclaimed series.
Dexter have landed themselves another cast member for the fifth season.
Robocop and 24 star Peter Weller will appear in eight of the 12 episodes as "a troubled Miami Metro police officer who gets caught up in an internal affairs investigation", reports Deadline. He joins other newbie Julia Stiles for the darkly comical drama, which stars Michael C. Hall in award-winning form as the titular sympathetic blood splatter analyst and part-time murderer.
Following the devastating season four finale, the new showrunner has stated they are going to change the forces Dexter has to deal with, as nothing could top John Lithgow's stunning turn as a serial killer whom Dexter forms a troubled friendship with.
Filming is taking place now, with the new series airing on Showtime in the US on 29th September. Exciting!
