Paranormal Activity 4 Confirmed
UPDATE: The chiller will land on October 19th. Be afraid.
It's not a great surprise, but as reported in The Hollywood Reporter, Paramount have officially announced that Paranormal Activity 4 will be terrifying cinemagoers in what is likely to be an October release.
Although the studio have done little other than announce that the project exists, it seems a safe bet that this will be hitting cinemas around Halloween, since the last three have all been released around that time, becoming something of a tradition for horror fans.
Again, no plot details are forthcoming, which does give plenty of room for speculation - will the series travel further back in time, to show the backstory of the girls' mysterious family? Or will it perhaps move forwards, as a more traditional sequel? We would like to see what happened to the surviving characters so far in the timeline of the franchise, but also enjoyed the way the thrid film enriched the mythology, so either is fine by us - what do you PA fans think?
