Omar Sy Joins X-Men: Days Of Future Past
French actor joins the already huge cast list for the sequel.
The X-Men: Days of Future Past cast list is swelling, with yet another addition coming today in the shape of French actor Omar Sy, of Untouchable (nee The Intouchables) fame.
The announcement came as part of the regular drill –Bryan Singer announced it on his Twitter feed - although no role has been confirmed for Sy as yet.
Sy has made waves in the film world after the French comedy attracted rave reviews last year, and we look forward to hearing more about his role in the mutant sequel. The film’s cast list currently stands at First Class returnees James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence and Nicholas Hoult, who are joined by Hugh Jackman, Ellen Page, Shawn Ashmore, Ian McKellen, Patrick Stewart and Anna Paquin from the original X-Men trilogy, plus Peter Dinklage. X-Men: Days of Future Past is set for release in the UK on July 18th next year.
