New Machete Kills Poster Reveals Lady Gaga
Singer joins cast of mexpolitation sequel, character poster revealed
With Machete Kills currently shooting, Robert Rodriguez has revealed the latest addition to his cast via his usually quiet Twitter feed.
Rodriguez tweeted the following character poster, along with the message “I just finished working with @LadyGaga on @MacheteKills , she kicked SO MUCH ASS! Holy Smokes. Blown away!”.
Gaga is playing the sultry-looking character “Le Chameleon”, and although little is known about the role at this moment, she adds some star power to the sequel we’re rabidly excited about.
Machete Kills also stars Mel Gibson, Amber Heard, Sofia Vergara, Jessica Alba, Michelle Rodriguez, , Charlie Sheen, Vanessa Hudgens, Cuba Gooding Jr, William Sadler and Demian Bichir, and has just added Rodriguez’s Spy Kids star Alexa Vega to the roster. We really can’t wait to see this one, and it should see action on cinema screens at some point next year.
We’ll be keeping a close eye on the production of Machete Kills, but in the meantime, give the director a follow on Twitter just in case any more morsels like this one pop up.
