New Image Of Rihanna In Battleship
First look at the singer's character, plus another trailer for the film.
With the release of Peter Berg's Battleship just around the corner, we have been treated to a first look at Rihanna in character as trigger-happy Navy officer Raikes.
Also available is the French trailer for the film, posted below, which doesn't show anything particularly new, but gives us a solid introduction to the characters. The special effects look pretty good, so we're hoping for some decent high-octane action sequences here.
The film, "in collaboration with Hasbro", is the end product of the movie rights to the famous board game. Starring Rihanna, Liam Neeson, Taylor Kitsch, Brooklyn Decker and Alexander Skarsgard. It looks to be a very loud Michael Bay-style explosion fest, and just the trailer gives us a headache. Still, you know what you get with this type of thing, and we expect the final film to be good fun when it is released on April 11th.
