More Super 8 Cast Announced
Noah Emmerich, Ron Eldard and some unknowns join J.J. Abrams' movie.
Super 8 has grown with its promised lowkey cast, with The Truman Show's Noah Emmerich and Deep Impact actor Ron Eldard joining J.J. Abrams' sci-fi movie.
Kyle Chandler and Elle Fanning has already been confirmed for the Steven Spielberg-produced project, which is shrouded in Abrams-esque mystery. The other cast members have been named as Gabriel Basso, Joel Courtney, Riley Griffiths, Ryan Lee and Zach Mills.
The homage to Spielberg's 1970s alien films features young Midwestern amateur filmmakers stumbling across a crashed military train on its way from Area 51. Filming is underway for a summer 2011 release.
