Lost’s Maggie Grace For Twilight Film
She's to play a vampire in Breaking Dawn, plus, has Renesmee been cast?
Lost star Maggie Grace is to play a vampire in The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn.
The actress has been cast as Irina, a member of the Denali clan, who are nice veggie vampires like our heroic Cullens. However, Irina blames them for the death of her lover Laurent, which sets in motion the events leading up to the story's climax.
Grace was last seen in Knight & Day, and is currently filming the Luc Besson-produced Lockout with Guy Pearce. She's also set to reprise her role as Liam Neeson's daughter in a sequel to Taken.
Meanwhile, the crucial Twilight character of Renesmee may be filled by FlashForward actress Mackenzie Foy. The nine-year-old is thought to be close to signing on for the human-vampire hybrid, who ages rapidly and will look like an eternal teenager at the age of seven. Something which leads to the grossest thing ever written in a book aimed at youngsters.
Directed by Dreamgirls helmer Bill Condon, Breaking Dawn part 1 is released on 18th November 2011, with the following part a whole year later.
