Lost Marathon Underway In London
Fans turned up at 7am outside the Prince Charles Cinema to watch every single one of the 121 episodes on the big screen.
The first ever public TV marathon to take place in the UK is underway, with The Prince Charles Cinema currently home to hordes of Lost fans.
The Leicester Square cinema has started screening all 121 episodes of the acclaimed TV show, which came to an end earlier this year. The sixth and final season was released on DVD and Blu-ray today (13th September), but the truly dedicated decided to commit themselves to this incredible mission.
Show producers Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse said: "For those of you watching all six seasons of the show in one long marathon, we applaud you, we admire you and we thank you for your fandom. But we take no legal responsibility for you!" Lindelof also tweeted "Wishing everyone in London at the Prince Charles a safe marathon. I won't be offended if you sleep thru the beginning of Season Three." Aw.
The marathon is due to end after 80 hours, which takes it to Thursday 16th September. Regulated breaks can be taken by the attendees and paramedics are on standby.
