Liam Neeson Boards Battleship
Peter Berg's film finally has some credibility, as he joins Taylor Kitsch and Alexander Skarsgard.
Bit of shock casting news for today - Liam Neeson has joined Battleship.
The classy actor lends some gravitas to a cast that appear to have been hired for their hotness. He'll play a respected Naval officer and father to Brooklyn Decker - the Sports Illustrated model plays the girlfriend of Taylor Kitsch's Naval commander. True Blood heart-throb Alexander Skarsgard is his older brother, also at sea, and popstar Rihanna is a weapons expert.
Peter Berg's film is based on the Hasbro game, with an alien twist. Filming is underway in Hawaii.
