Will Smith and his family hit London last night for the UK prmeiere of The Karate Kid.
Star Jackie Chan walked the red carpet with the precocious Jaden Smith, son of Will and Jada Pinkett-Smith (who produce), to celebrate the remake of the classic 1984 coming-of-age film.
Watch some footage, courtesy of the lovely Upbeat, of Chan and the Smith clan meeting fans in Leicester Square and talking about the updated version, which sets the story in China. For the doubters, director Harald Zwart has made an actually quite good movie, aimed at a lower age demographic, that can sit comfortably alongside the original. Review to follow!
