Jurassic Park 4 Adds New Writers
Rise of the Planet of the Apes scribes take on dino franchise.
Steven Spielberg may have confirmed Jurassic Park 4 last year, but the project seems to be taking an evolutionary period of time to get to the screen. The project has received a boost, however, with the addition of some promising writers.
Rick Jaffa and Amanda Silver were the scribes behind last years’ very good Rise of the Planet of the Apes, and Spielberg and Kathleen Kennedy have hired the pair to pen the script for the fourth film in the dinosaur franchise, reports Deadline.
The film still has no projected release date, with Spielberg commenting that they hope to get it made “in the next two or three years” , but we will be able to get a fun fix of dinosaur-dodging next June when the original Jurassic Park is re-released in 3D.
Fingers crossed this can banish the ugly spectre of The Lost World, and the abominable Jurassic Park 3…
