Josh Holloway Joins Mission: Impossible 4
The Lost star gets his first major film role following the series end.
Lost star Josh Holloway is the latest actor to join Mission: Impossible 4.
The 41-year-old got his big acting break on the series, so this is his first major film role. He played Sawyer for six seasons, creating one of the best-loved characters on television, famous for his legendary put-downs and southern charm.
He's now been cast in the J.J. Abrams-produced sequel, as one of Tom Cruise's team, joining regulars Simon Pegg, Ving Rhames, and fellow new boy Jeremy Renner.
Other new cast members include Michael Nyqvist, Vladimir Mashkov and Paula Patton. Brad Bird is directing, with Cruise co-producing.
