Joseph Gordon-Levitt Officially In Dark Knight Rises
The Inception star's role thought to be Alberto Falcone.
After months of rumours, Joseph Gordon-Levitt has officially signed on for The Dark Knight Rises, report Variety.
The trade mag are confident that the Inception star will be playing Alberto Falcone in the third of Christopher Nolan's Batman films. The character is the son of Carmine Falcone (Tom Wilkinson in Batman Begins), and becomes the Holiday Killer.
Atonement actress Juno Temple is in talks to play a "street-smart Gotham girl", it's reported. There's no word if Marion Cotillard has confirmed for the Inception reunion party. The secured cast includes Tom Hardy as Bane and Anne Hathaway as Catwoman/Selina Kyle, with Christian Bale returning as Bruce Wayne/Batman. Michael Caine and Morgan Freeman will also be reprising their roles as Wayne's faithful assistants.
