Inception DVD Details, Plus Visual Effects Talk

A great news day for Inception fans - the details of the DVD release have been revealed, plus news of a talk from the man behind the visual effects.

Warner Home Video will release a limited edition Blu-ray briefcase on 6th December, featuring the title on triple play (including DVD and a digital copy) and a disc of special features. It comes in a snazzy little briefcase, so you can pretend to be an extractor to your heart's content.

As you can see above, it also includes a Spinning Top (yay), Theatrical Dream Machine Leaflet and four art cards showing main Key Art. All this can be yours for £39.99, from all major retailers.

To remind yourself of how awesome the greatest film of the year is, Inception's visual effects supervisor will be giving a talk at Apple's Regent Street store at 7pm, 8th September. Paul Franklin is a long-time collaborator with director Christopher Nolan, having worked on The Dark Knight and Batman Begins, as well as Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince. He's the co-founder of Double Negative VFX, and he and his team have been nominated for an Oscar and two BAFTAs. No wristbands or tickets are required for the free talk, so just head on down on the night!
