First Look At 30 Days Of Night: Dark Days
The sequel to David Slade's vampire film stars two Losties, and is going straight to DVD.
David Slade made quite an impression with his first interpretation of vampire lore, an adaptation of Steve Niles' comic book 30 Days Of Night.
Set in a sun-deprived Alaskan town, Josh Hartnett was the sheriff battling to protect residents from Danny Huston's horrifying and heartless bloodsuckers. Not a sparkle in sight. With Slade going on to rescue the Twilight franchise with the enjoyable Eclipse, it's up to Ben Ketai to reprise the story for this straight-to-DVD sequel, out in the autumn.
Ill-fated Lost actress Kiele Sanchez is Stella (taking over from Melissa George), travelling the world following the events of the previous year. She meets a group of people, including fellow Lost alumnus Harold Perrineau, who give her the opportunity to exact revenge on vampire queen Mia Kirshner, dwelling in Los Angeles.
