First Full Trailer For JJ Abrams/ Eric Kripke Show Revolution
Pilot directed by Jon Favreau has an exciting trailer.
Produced by JJ Abrams, upcoming science fiction TV series Revolution has a meaty full trailer, and has more than caught our attention this morning.
With the pilot directed by Iron Man helmer Jon Favreau, and coming from Supernatural creator Eric Kripke, the pedigree is certainly there, and the visuals on show here certainly look like a cut above your standard television fare.
We generally tend to avoid getting too excited about upcoming US TV shows these days though, as they tend to be a lot shorter-lived than their creators intended. With so many shows being axed in recent years (we still have a soft spot for V, no matter how ropey it got), the hope is that this will stand the ruthless test of time imposed by the networks.
Let’s not turn too quickly to doom-mongering though, as this looks to have a seriously richly-imagined world, with a real Hunger Games flavour (And not just because of the prevalence of archery on show here).
