Final Five For Lisbeth Salander
The relative unknowns who could star in David Fincher's Girl With The Dragon Tattoo remake are revealed.
Indie Wire have the names of the final five actresses that could be Lisbeth Salander in David Fincher's US remake of The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo.
The women that have tested for Sony this week are relative unknowns - three Australians, one American and one French actress, who hasn't been named.
The four we now know are:
Sophie Lowe (pictured above), Australian nominated for an AFI award for Beautiful Kate, soon to be seen in horror Road Kill.
Emily Browning (below), who shot to fame in Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events, and can be seen next in Sucker Punch and a controversial update of Sleeping Beauty.
Sarah Snook (below), fellow Australian, also featured in Julia Leigh's Sleeping Beauty, and a stage actress.
Rooney Mara (below), an American who turned in a terrible performance as Nancy in the remake of Nightmare On Elm Street. She's also in Fincher's The Social Network.
Daniel Craig is the first choice for journalist Mikael Blomkvist, who is involved with misfit hacker Lisbeth.
