Daniel Craig Confirmed For Dragon Tattoo
He'll play Mikael Blomkvist in David Fincher’s adaptation of The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo.
Daniel Craig has been confirmed for David Fincher's version of The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo.
The James Bond star, currently filming Cowboys & Aliens, will play disgraced journalist Mikael Blomkvist, with a view to signing on for the entire trilogy, should it happen.
His co-star is yet to be determined, but the actresses for the part of antisocial hacker Lisbeth Salander have been narrowed down to Emily Browning, Sophie Lowe, Sarah Snook, Rooney Mara and an unnamed French actress.
Stieg Larsson's Millenium trilogy of books have already been successfully adapted into films in their native Sweden, with the second feature, The Girl Who Played With Fire (starring the incredible Noomi Rapace and Michael Nyqvist) out on 27th August.
