Clip Of Lost Epilogue
The first glimpse of New Man In Charge shows Benjamin Linus carrying out Hurley's orders.
The months following the ending of Lost have been hard. I grieved at the loss of the greatest TV show ever made, despite my understanding that all good things come to an end, and it ended beautifully.
So it's with trepidation I view a clip of the planned epilogue, New Man In Charge. The mini-episode is to feature on the box-set Lost: The Complete Sixth and Final Season and Lost: The Complete Collection this September, showing what happened when Hurley took over from Jacob as protector of the Island. He graciously offered the second-in-command job to Ben Linus, the Losties' former nemesis.
I've already got closure (I have Inception to thank for my speedy recovery) so to release new footage is a mistake in my opinion. My imagination can tell me what happened to Hurley and Ben, and seeing them once more will just reopen the Lost-shaped gap in my heart.
