Chloe Moretz For Indie Hick
After Kick-Ass and Let Me In, the young actress to star in a brutal drama.
Chloe Moretz has signed up for indie film Hick, following a stream of big-profile starring roles.
The young actress shot to well-deserved fame after her unforgettable turn as Hit Girl in Kick-Ass, and even makes the thought of the Let The Right One In remake Let Me In bearable, as the child vampire.
She's on board to work with Martin Scorsese on The Invention Of Hugo Cabret, but will now be squeezing in Derick Martini's harsh sounding Hick.
Based on Andrea Portes' novel, Moretz will play the 13-year-old daughter of drunk parents who leave her to fend for herself in Nebraska. The character of Luli hitchhikes to Las Vegas armed with a pistol, and has several unpleasant encounters on the way.
Lymelife director Martini starts shooting in New Mexico this summer.
