Bruce Willis, Sigourney Weaver Join The Cold Light Of Day
Henry Cavill stars in the thriller from Mabrouk El Mechri.
Bruce Willis and Sigourney Weaver have joined the cast of The Cold Light Of Day.
The thriller is to directed by Mabrouk El Mechri, whose last work was JCVD, a comedy-drama starring Jean-Claude Van Damme as himself. The helmer's new work stars Henry Cavill (The Tudors) as a Wall Street trader on holiday in Spain, whose family get kidnapped. With only hours to find them, he must unravel the mystery of a government conspiracy and his father's secrets.
Willis is on board to play Cavill's father, and Weaver intriguingly the villain. The Wire writer Richard Price is doing a last-minute polish of Scott Wiper and John Petro's script, with shooting underway in Spain this September.
