Bradley Cooper Leaves The Crow

Relativity's turbulent reboot of The Crow has suffered another blow, with star Bradley Cooper, who had been set to play Eric Draven, forced to pull out due to scheduling conflicts.

The Limitless and Hangover actor is tied to numerous upcoming projects, including David O Russell's The Silver Lining Playbook and original Crow director Alex Proyas' Paradise Lost. No official word has come with regards to who might take over the role, Heat Vision have reported potential interest from Mark Wahlberg and Channing Tatum.

Wahlberg had reportedly turned down the role back in 2010, when it was still a Stephen Norrington project, and despite his packed schedule might well revive his interest in the role of Eric Draven. Tatum is currently shooting GI Joe 2, which will finish in time for director Juan Carlos Fresnadillo's projected start date of early 2012.

This project seems almost cursed, and has had an extraordinary turnover of attached talent. As it stands a promising young director (Fresnadillo helmed 28 Weeks Later) is running the production, and we will keep listening out for who will end up playing the iconic cult character.
