Avengers Sequel Gets Release Date
Plus possible logline for Guardians of the Galaxy.
With The Avengers sequel now a confirmed project for Joss Whedon, Disney have confirmed the release date in an official press release. We'll be sitting down to watch "untitles Avengers sequel" on May the 1st, 2015.
This is about what we were expecting, but it is a little interesting that the title hasn't just been given as "Avengers 2", as had been previously tossed around. There's no news other than what the internet at large have read into those three words at the moment, but we'll keep an eye on it.
In other Marvel News, It's On the Grid claim to have uncovered the logline for the film, which is apparently as follows;
About a U.S. pilot who ends up in space in the middle of a universal conflict and goes on the run with futuristic ex-cons who have something everyone wants.
Sounds a little Green Lantern-y to us, but we'll have to wait and see if this is genuine.
