Apes, Super 8 and Take Shelter Pick Up Saturn Awards

With the 38th annual Saturn Awards taking place last night, we were pleased to see some worthy winners amongst the gongs. Rise of the Planet of the Apes took home the Special Effects prize, which we are delighted to see Michael Shannon get some awards recognition for his great work in Take Shelter. We've posted all the film winners below.

The Saturn Awards are held in Burbank, California, and are designed to recognise the best efforts in the science fiction, fantasy, and horror, since genre filmmaking is so often overlooked by the major ceremonies. Check out their website here.
