2012 Oscar Nominations Announced

Here they are, folks. No huge surprises but a few notable snubs. Tilda Swinton not nommed? War Horse getting a Best Picture nod? The Tree of Life joining it, despite being one of the most divisive films of the last 12 months? At least Rooney Mara picked up some recognition, even if Michael Shannon was unlucky to miss out for Take Shelter.

It's hard to see The Artist not cleaning up this year, in pretty much all the categories.
